Apart from EUOG meetings in the various member state countries and beyond, the EUOG organizes international conferences to facilitate dissemination of its activities and stimulate discussion about and define the accepted state-of-the-art in the field of uro-oncology.

The 2013 International Conference STATE-OF-THE-ART IN URO-ONCOLOGY on ‘Prostate Cancer & Kidney Cancer’ organized by the European Uro-Oncology Group has taken place on 26 and 27 September at the InterContinental Amstel Hotel, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. World renowned experts in the field of uro-oncology have been discussing controversies and the future of Prostate Cancer and Kidney Cancer with a broad audience.

Participants were urologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, and researchers, coming from all over Europe, uniting the cancer community. Such a wide interdisciplinary approach promotes a major advantage in creating a solid multidisciplinary approach towards contemporary issues in the field of prostate cancer and renal cell cancer. This ensures integration of frontline science in the development of novel approached and implementation of the State-Of-The-Art in Clinical Practice.
